Though pink is most definitely back in fashion, in the 1950s it was also “de rigeur”. This magnificently large Austrian crystal brooch featuring rhinestones in various shades of pink is a fabulous statement piece from the 50s-early 60s. It would have looked wonderful on Elizabeth Taylor, Jackie Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe or Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco. Though it’s begging to adorn a ballgown, it would also look great on a denim jacket or even a modern gentleman’s lapel. It’s “La Vie en Rose” with extra sparkle.
Safety clasp.
