It features an elegant, interlaced gold gilt setting with a central crest surrounding lovely enamelwork panels of pink roses and blue bows on a striking black background. Signed on the back “La broche neuchateloise par Marguerite Delachaix, peintre sur email à la Chaux de Fonds et Paul Kramer bijoutier a Neuchâtel” which translates to “The Neuchâtel brooch by Marguerite Delachaix, enamel painter in La Chaux de Fonds, and Paul Kramer, jeweller in Neuchâtel”.
