An exquisite antique French gold, platinum and diamond ring from around 1900. Three diamonds of around 0.4 carats are surrounded by smaller diamonds in a romantic crossover shape beloved by the Edwardians. Crossover Rings are a symbol of romance and unity, representing the intertwining of two people's love. This design features a band that crosses over at the top, accented by gracefully curving ring shoulders. The history of crossover rings dates back to the Edwardian era, when the flowing, undulating shapes of the Art Nouveau period were in vogue.
Sourced in France and curated by Paris-based Vivienne Birt for Chateau Love, this ring embodies the timeless sophistication and meticulous artistry that defines our carefully selected chateau-worthy collection of luxurious antique and vintage jewelry.
