A rare antique French silver, brass and enamel commemorative brooch created in 1909 featuring Joan of Arc with a golden halo, a fleur-de-lys, and the dates 1431 and 1909, the date that Joan of Arc was beatified in Rome. The brooch is signed by the artist “Levy” and stamped “Depose”, which means handmade. On the reverse side of the piece, it is stamped “Royal”.
We especially love the contrast of the gold and silver tones, plus the exceptional craftsmanship.
C-Clasp.
