An astoundingly large and fabulous combination brooch-pendant from the Art Nouveau era. This hallmarked, solid sterling silver antique French brooch features an Alphonse-Mucha-esque lady with flowing hair surrounded by daisies who is playing the game “Effeuiller La Marguerite”, otherwise known in English as “He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not”, in which the petals of a daisy represent a longing for true love. Symbolically, daisies also represent simplicity, positivity, and happiness. It’s often associated with the following: innocence, purity, new beginnings, transformation, humility, true love, and cheerfulness.

Early safety brooch clasp as well as a large hook to hang from large beaded necklaces or a chain.
